IMPORTANT NOTICE: This version is the original build from 2017. It will stay at it is in order to present the project as a legacy version. Another version of the game with new characters, animations, levels is currently in development.

Quick Guide - CONTROLS

The player can go straight into the levels without buying something and pressing the buttons of any of the 3 playable levels.

1. Player Controls

  • ARROWS - Player movement.
  • Space - Jumping.
  • U - You can press this letter in order to shoot Kunais  (if any) and defend yourself.
  • R - Respawn after dying (or at any time) at the previous checkpoint (or start of the level).
  • P - Go back to main menu.

2. Equipment Controls

After buying an item and/or completing a level you might receive a random item for future uses.  When a level starts you can equip an item traversing the list of items and pressing SPACE to equip it. You can equip up to three items for a single level. You can also press ESCAPE to close the equipment controls if you want to save an item for a future level.

3. Product Details

Course project for the class of Software Design I at Uninorte. The project is an implementation of a 2D Platformer game in Unity, with C#, with the following characteristics:

  • 3 levels that can be played in Normal and "Nightmare" mode.
  • "Nightmare" mode is a mechanic that removes the checkpoints in a normal level and creates a constant threat to the player.
  • A shopping level where the player can buy items to equip them in the levels.
  • After a level is completed, a random item is given to the player to equip it in the next level or save it for later uses.
